Maybe the young finger-flipper (or is it flicker?), had just gotten a two week notice and wasn't in the mood to be gracious. That would certainly explain why the management never replied to the OP.

Oh - you've hit on a great idea - LTH the Musical! Featuring musical vignettes of our favorite threads: "STAY AWAY!" (Re Hot Dog Island); "Heaven, I'm in Heaven" (Re A Taste of Heaven) and "Fired Up About Coalfire" (re Coalfire Pizza). Maybe the tragic, maligned owner of HDI can be played by a wistful Mandy Patankin.

No matter how much some people would like to believe our beloved LTHforum has the kind of media power to bring Thor's hammer down upon a private business owner, merely suggesting so could be treading very dangerous water. I'd suggest that we stop any discussion of the sort.

They have been trying to sell HDI for a while now. I think the original owners just overpaid for it and it just caught up with them.
