Hey everyone,
This is actually my first post on LTH, although I have been lurking the past 8 or so months, decided it's time to get involved!
I actually had a question that maybe one of the members more experienced with South American or Venezuelan food could help. Last year in Caracas, me and some friends were leaving a bar. On the streets are these little carts selling fast food items.
This one item in particular keeps coming up in conversation and I never remembered the name for it, maybe all that Venezuelan Rum. Ive searched far and wide on here, the internet, and a few other culinary boards and cant find it for the life of me.
The item in question was like a sandwich, it included eggs, ketchup, mayonnaise, beef (i think), and a gang of other ingredients. I completely forget the kind of bread it was in. Maybe something similar to what Mexicans call a "bolillo" or the Torta bread.
What is the name of this particular disgustingly delicious food? I cant wait to visit Caracas again, this even beat the wonderfully homemade arepas with Guayanes cheese.
Someone help!!!!
cheers
arepas!
