The current issue of The New Yorker has a long (and somewhat rambling) portrait of the guy who started this boutique, organic, chocolate company, which he recently sold. It talks about the world of chocolate, this history of the product, and includes the trips to various jungle plantations. If you like food/travelogue/food history type of writing, you might find this piece worthwhile.

Somewhat rambling is a major understatement. I found this article to be nigh onto incoherent! Was there some set up for Buford to get naked an jump into the Cacao trough? Is a nighttime visitation by the chocolate goddess so run of the mill as to require no buffering in the article? I could barely keep the cast of characters straight!
