Why no love for the Smartie? Call me a deviant, but I love Smarties. In fact I spent Thursday digging through the surplus candy my co-workers brought to the office in search of the sole roll of Smarties which I hustled off to my desk and consumed with great pleasure. I did offer to share, but somehow no one took up the offer... I would gladly trade anything, with the exception of a Heath Bar, for a Smartie. Especially those slimy Swedish Fish.
And do people really hand out condiment packages? That's a new one to me.
On a side note, it seems a shame that anything homemade, aka Popcorn Balls, is seen as an egg-throw-worthy offense, but that's the way it is. Anyone who actually takes the time to make a popcorn ball puts a hundred times more effort into Halloween than your average Joe who picks up a bag of Snickers from Walgreens. I imagine those well meaning souls spending hours making popcorn balls under the impression that they are creating something special that, at best, gets fed to squirrels.
