Today's Beacon reports that the Geneva Green Market will remain open as a Winter Market, selling locally grown meat, eggs, cheese, and where available, produce. I didn't hit the Geneva Market this year, but a Winter Market seems a good development.

good deal. I used to live out there. They have an excellent wine shop (the wine seller), and a good chocolate shop (grahams), a good bread place across the street from grahams. they need a good butcher and I see now they have a cheese shop. Making me hungry.

I've never attended the Green Market. Any comments about it?

Add to that The Spice House on South Third Street, across from the Metra Station that just opened. Also the shop near the post office that sells specialty oils and vinegar making for a good food destination to Geneva!
