Where to eat dinner before the George Winston concert??

Post #1 - November 9th, 2007, 2:00 pmMy boyfriend and I are going to see George Winston at the Beverly Arts Center at 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago, IL 60655 tomorrow night at 8PM.
I would like to know if there are any good places in the area for dinner before we go to the concert. I don't care what kind of cuisine or fare. Something $$ ... not $$$$!

Post #2 - November 9th, 2007, 2:49 pmWell, I'm pretty fond of the 1/4lb old-school hamburgers and fried-in-beef-tallow french fries at Top Notch Beefburger, at about 2000 W 95th. But you might be looking for something more upscale than that.
In which case, I'd suggest Koda (to which I've never been) on Western near 103rd.
Another option is Petey's Bungalow at 4401 W 95th.

I appreciate it a lot ... does anyone else have any other recommendations?
