Anyone know of anywhere good that serves to the later side of the night near 131 S. Dearborn? I'm stuck at work late, late, late and would love to sit at a bar and have a drink and a nice meal on the later side.

So far this is what I've thought of that's close and may or may not be open tonight towards the later side:

    312 Chicago (in the Allegro)
    Rosebud Prime (1 S. Dearborn)
    Petterino's (Randolph and Dearborn-ish)

Any suggestions or any one of these I should lean towards or away from?

I love Avec, but that's really far from my office.

As per Trattoria #10, Open until 9 usually means that they stop seating at 8-8:30.

The Gage on 24 S Michigan is open until 2 am weekdays. Might want to call ahead to make sure the Kitchen is also open that late.

Not as good as Avec, but not bad and closer to your office.

Gage also is very single-diner friendly, nice bar and small tables nearby.

Gage or the Southwater Kitchen. Both have good food and booze.
