This reminds me of the banner that Great Harvest Bread Co. in Evanston hung up one year in anticipation of Passover. It advertised "Challah for the Holidays." Oof.

$8.99 a pound for Chanukah Ham? You think Jews would spend that much? Please, you insult us with your overpriced ham. Maybe at Balducci's in New York City (hoo-hah), but in Chicago? It wouldn't happen. Not when Aldi's has it on sale for $1.49 a pound all through the Chanukah Season. Oh yeah, and that other holiday later in the month, too.

Cut me off a slice and give it a shmear of brown mustard dahlink.

I was in Kaufman's Deli the week after Thanksgiving. I was kicking myself when I saw I missed out on Turkey shaped Challah for $12.95 feeds 10-12. Next year!

The only way that could possibly be kosher is if they chopped it up and put it in a Kow Kow egg roll.

I was told that kosher ham comes only from circumcised pigs.

In the spirit of this thread, I had a cousin who became a Jew for Jesus temporarily and @ her wedding buffet on a hillside in Napa had chopped liver molded in the shape of a cross with Ritz crackers adorning the outline.

Another time, back in my EBC days, one xmas finding myself with a case of samples of assorted baby cheeses I made a mock manger out of straw for a buffet and placed them there aka little baby cheeses in the manger.

Picture? I've been trying to forget it but it's burned into my memory.

This was hanging in my parents house today during our family HANUKKKAH party. My mom cant remember where she bought it.

I guess a bacon cheeseburger and milkshake is out of the question?
