i'd like to let people know (if they don't already), about thehungersite.com. every visit to the page will provide a small portion of food somewhere in the world to the needy. (it's paid for by the advertisers on the page). you can 'click' once a day - and while you're at it, you can click to give funds to other worthy causes linked on the same page. if you have a fast server, as i do, you can give to hunger, literacy, rain forest, breast cancer and animal rescue in about 45 seconds. please consider making this your home page or adding it to your bookmark bar and making a food donation every day. thanks, justjoan

Actually, I've bookmarked the site but have forgotten, for too long now, to visit. Thanks for the timely reminder.

gypsy boy- what i've done (since i like a blank home page) is put thehungersite.com on the bookmark bar at the time of my page (along with the other important sites in my life- weather channel, netflix, lthforum, imdb, ebay. this way i see it daily and remember to 'click'.

A similar site, which donates rice through a UN agency, funded by revenues from advertisers on the site.

It can also challenge your brain.

every once in a while i choose to remind people about the terrific website, the hungersite. every time i go to it a half cup of food is donated to needy people. it is paid for by the advertisers on the page and costs me nothing. it is also linked to other worthy sites where the same thing applies-1 click per page donates money to rain forest rescue, literacy, free mammograms and animal rescue. clicking on all of them takes me less than 30 seconds total. i've got the hungersite on my bookmark bar, so i can't help but see it everyday and it helps me remember to click on it. i hope everyone who reads this will do the same. how often do we get to help others with so little effort (and at no cost)? thanks, justjoan
