Great News...Rossini's In Niles Has Apparently Not Closed

I am pretty disappointed, as I had a top-to-bottom wonderful dinner there a couple weeks ago and didn't see this coming. Apparently it has been sold and I don't know what the new guy's plans are. I doubt it had to do with a lack of business because from what I gather they were still doing well...has to be a shock to many longtime regulars.

Didn't the owners also own Salerno's in Prospect Heights/Mount Prospect?

Tammy76...it has changed owners, but from what I've gathered it's not a seamless transition...the doors have closed and the new guy will be opening a new place rather than carrying the Rossini's torch under new ownership. This isn't 100% though, wish I had concrete info. Hopefully I'm not butchering the true facts of the situation.

That's GREAT news...if someone can show me how to delete the post (or any mod can feel free to do so) I will take it down right away. I'll also get to the bottom of the apparently bad intel I received from a VERY close and reputable source...

We were there Monday for dinner. The place was packed and nothing had changed.
