Deerfield's a bit of a chase for me, but there may be other takes. Try the Events board, and good luck!

    Hi,

I live and work nearby, so I would be interested potentially.

There's already an Evanston Lunch Group event planned for WED 1/9. Maybe we should choose another day since the pools of participants probably overlap.

Excuse me sir, but isn't a suburban a vehicle name, as well? :P

    Should we plan for 12:30?

I hope I didn't overstep but I put us on the books when I was there for breakfast last Saturday. I told them I'd let them know by WED 1/16 how many we'd be.

Right now, it appears we have 3. Anyone else considering joining us?

    Duly noted.

I like the burgers, the tuna melt and the salads, among other stuff. They usually offer omelet, crepe and soup of the day, too. There are a couple of decent pasta dishes on the menu as well. The ham and gruyere sandwich is tasty, too.

FWIW, I was quite surprised at the length of their lunch menu. Way more dishes to choose from than I would have expected, at least at lunchtime. (I've only been there for dinner, not lunch.)
