Myself and three guys from work (we work down the block) went and tried it for lunch last week. They have some lunch "specials" but at $8-10 each we think they are way overpriced for both what you get and the lunch crowd in this neighborhood.
Watching this place slowly getting ready to open I had hoped it would be a mid-low price yakitori or noodle place, but it's really another wanna be upscale sushi place just like Sushi Wabi and the like, but not as nicely set up and the sushi not as interesting or well done. And in the end do we really need ANOTHER upscale sushi place? I don't think so. Anyway the sushi wasn't bad. The terriyaki chicken on the other hand was pretty terrible. Sickly sweet and globby. I couldn't finish more than a 1/3 of it despite what I paid. The side salad was plain and small, though the standard miso dressing was tasty. The miso soup was okay, but bland. Overall I wouldn't go back and I work just down the block (and Lord knows I sick of eating at Quiznos every other day). For people who don't live/work nearby there is absolutely no reason to come by. At least from what we all sampled that day.
I work down the block from this place so
