If you can brave the cold next Sunday, come to the 55th and Lake Park Shopping Center to see the Hyde Park Co-op go out in style. Join us on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.to give our Co-Op a New Orleans-Style Jazz Funeral, Featuring professional jazz musicians plus as many of you as can bring an instrument. Everybody come!

Honestly, and with no dis-respect intended for the managers of the Co-Op, as someone who had to deal only with the Co-Op and Hyde Park Produce for 4+ years, I will not be sad to see it go. I wish Treasure Island only the best of luck in contending with a customer base that has alternately little of to a bevy of disposable income.

I'm holding off until the ribbon is untied on the poke, myself.
