what are the chances of getting a table for 2 at katsu tonight, if we show up early?

they should be quite good if you call in and ask. my husband and I were in a similar situation a month ago, on a Saturday night at around 6:30 or 7 pm. The owner said if we got there within 15-20 minutes we'd have a table and we did. It was actually quite mellow once we arrived. And the clams in a super delicate miso broth were sublime.

Edk and I ate there last night, and it was wonderful. I wanted to second the recommendation for the baby clam appetizer. The clams were petite, perfect, bathed in a subtle broth, not a bad one in the bunch.
