We decided on to hit 2 new places on the GNR list, and make a return visit to a place we had visited previously. The 2 new places were Semiramis, and Sun Wah BBQ, and we made a return trip to Smoque. Heres the Results:

    Stop # 1: Smoque:

We arrived as the place opened at 11:00 a.m., and quickly got served our 1/2 slab of baby back ribs with 2 sides, and an adder of brisket. The ribs were good as usual, but the standout was the brisket, I had never ordered it here before, and it is a top notch brisket, juicy, and flavorfull, with a beatiful crust. With the above said I am still a Honey 1 guy, and will take Honey 1's ribs, hot links, and rib tips any day over Smoque.

    Stop # 2: Semiramis:

2nd stop of the day, and we were very happy with this place. Friendly service, and very good food. We ordered the half chicken, and a beef and lamb schwarma(sp). The chicken was excellent, and the thin bread it is served over is excellent. I also enjoyed the white garlic sauce that came with the chicken as well as what I will call saffron rice. A bargain for around $8.00. The lamb and beef schwarma was good, although I would have preferred it served with the sauce that is served on a gyros to bring out the lamb, and beef flavors more. All in all a good sandwich though. We will be returning here for sure.

Stop # 3: Sun Wah BBQ:

The third stop on our list, and the star of the day in my opinion. From the ducks, and other meats hanging in the window, to the friendly service, to the incredible food, this place is incredible. We orderd the BBQ Pork Hong Kong Style, and the BBQ Pork & Duck on Rice. The pork was out of this world, juicy, tender, and flavorfull. As for the duck, we ordered that for mjy wife, and I did have a small bite, and found it good, but the pork was the star for me. Another place we will definately be going back to with empty stomachs, to try some of the other items on the menu.

All in all I can see why all 3 of these spots are GNR's, and it was a fun day, alot of driving(we left home @ 8:40, and got home @ 3:30), but now we are back out in the country with our stomachs still full. I love food adventures like today.
