    i need help

i hadn't seen anything posted about Adorno's pizzera on ashland and thomas (i think). does anyone remember this place? it closed late 2002, early 2003 and i still miss it. i saw that on the building was a statement that the tenant owned rent to the owner, but i never got anything else. i called the number and got nothing. i have not seen anything written in the papers or the Reader. i miss this pizzeria and was wondering if anyone knew if the restauranteur had a new locale. when i drive by now, all i see is a pizza metro sign. it makes me want to cry. adorno's was my favorite thin crust pizza ever and they also had pretty good pasta and meat dishes. i think i am well on my way to being a crusty chicagoan now that my favorite place has closed, an apparent chicago rite of passage.

    any new info appreciated

We ate there once on the way to a Bulls game and thought the pizza was average at best. The place was dark and very dingy and I remember saying that if we would have had more time we would have left and gone somewhere else.
Sorry,I can't help you on whatever became of the owners.
