Presented by Ted Erski, instructor of geography and earth science at McHenry County College, author of
Salavandra: A Coffee Tale (Lulu Press, ISBN-13: 978-1430313632). Ted regularly teaches a class called “The Geography of Coffee,” has appeared on CBS News Sunday Morning, and frequently hosts community discussions and workshops about coffee, “cuppings,” and creative writing. He is currently finishing his second novel,
A Coffee Crusade. Ted is also a member of Chicago Fair Trade, a non-profit organization that works to increase support for Fair Trade in the Chicago metro area through education, advocacy and targeted consumer campaigns.
