I did a search to see if anyone had been discussing it (I know the place is not new) and I didnt see anything.....

If you have not been there (and I am sure lots of you have).....do yourself a favor and make the trip.

This is from the last time I was there....

I don't have the heart to tell him. He seems so sincere and eager. Either that or he's pulling our collective leg.

Anyone else want to jump in here? Be kind.

    Have we been there???

Welcome to LTH, Brock, we're glad to have you, but by golly, you sure didn't look too hard :-)

Hot Doug's is a huge board favorite. It's one of our Great Neighborhood Restaurants. A search for "doug's" turns up 226 threads that mention Hot Doug's (you'll find a link to the search function at the top of the screen). Here are but a smattering of those that are devoted solely to Doug's. The first is the official GNR thread.

Hot Dougs, I must be missing something.

Brock - welcome to the forum. Some restaurant names with internal punctuation or common words can be tough to find. Your post will likely be moved into one of the existing threads tomorrow. For your reference, HD is a community favorite, and has earned a Great Neighborhood Restaurant (GNR) award:

It was strange...at first I searched Hot Dougs with all the words searching and it took me to every single post that mentioned hot food or some guys named doug.

By all means...move the thread....Im not a noob to message boards so I sure as hell can take the lumps and comments.....

I figured you guys had heard of it, thats why I didnt want to start my own thread...but like I said (and someone else)...my search didnt show much.

    Back to The Wire

    They're meant in good-natured fashion, Brock :-)

The search function, admittedly, leaves something to be desired. There are some tips on searching here, or you can do what a lot of us do -- use google with a "site:lthforum.com" tag.

    Enjoy The Wire :-)
