I turn eighteen, if that means anything.

Somewhere reasonably priced would be a plus, as would anything Thai, Greek, or Middle Eastern.

Uh-oh.... Downtown... That's problematic: check this thread out.

If you mean Downtown in a fairly broad sense, so that it might include Greektown, then Santorini on Halsted is a nice place with very good food, focussing on seafood but with other items as well.

In the Loop itself there isn't all that much. One place that comes to mind is Russian Tea Time for (not surprisingly) Russian food but also with some more exotic offerings from former Soviet, central Asian places such as Uzbekistan.

Some folks around here like Opera on South Wabash (ca. 13th St.); Asian with 'eclectic' touches, as I understand it. Search here for reviews.

Thai is better sought away from the Loop but again, how broad is your notion of Downtown? Same goes for Middle Eastern; there are good places but for most folks, they aren't thought of as being downtown.

Well, that's a wee start. Give some more parameters and others will surely chime in.

    Happy Birthday...

If you are looking for some unique Thai/Japanese fusion, Silver Spoonmight be just the ticket. The restaurant is owned by the same folks who own board favorite Spoon Thai on Western and the food is wonderful. Check the linked thread for pictures and details.

If you are a really hungry 18 year old looking for a meat fix, another possibility might be Fogo de Chao, the Brazilian churrascaria. It features a really great salad bar and an endless stream of different cuts of meat served by Gauchos.

Of course, there's always the old Chicago standby, the steak house, best exemplified by Smith & Wollensky's, Gibson's, Tavern on Rush, etc.

And for high end dining, Tru and Everest are both downtown (but they do not fit your budget criteria.)

As Antonius pointed out, the definition of Downtown is not an exact thing, but all of these places fall within the typical "Downtown Tourist Zone."
