    I have no relationship with this event other than being handed a copy of the announcement.


    Three Floyds Brewing Co. will be hosting a brewers dinner at Vie Restaurant on Monday, April 7, at 6:30PM. Vie is located at 4471 Lawn Ave in Western Springs.

    The menu is as follows:

    Passed
    Beer-braised Littleneck clams
    House-made pretzel, cured ham, mustard
    Buttermilk-soaked-and-fried frog legs
    PickelHaube Pilsner

    First Course
    Deep-fried lobster claw and Spence Farm ramp,
    watercress, spring radish, malt vinegar
    Gumballhead American Wheat Beer

    Second Course
    Fried country cottage farm egg, house-made morcilla,
    Werp Farm frisee, fried spring onions, mustard vinaigrette
    Robert the Bruce Scottish Ale

    Third Course
    Beer and cheese soup with Crawford Farm fresh ham croque monsieur
    Ham on Rye Smoked/Rye Beer

    Fourth Course
    Wood-grilled sturgeon, roasted barley, Hen-of-the-Woods mushrooms, aioli
    Brian Boru Red Ale

    Fifth Course
    Slow-cooked Kilgus Farm goat, egg noodles,
    fava beans sauerkraut, preserved orange butter
    Alpha King Pale Ale

    Sixth Course
    Rabid Rabbit sorbet

    To Finish
    Warm sticky toffee pudding, rhubarb, whipped organic creme fraiche
    Decimator Double Bock

    Mignardise
    Chocolate truffle
    Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout
