It's time to stop complaining about the lack of affordable lunch options downtown, between my
favorite downtown spotand this one. Today was my first visit, and the menu shows quite a bit of promise: hand cut fries, fresh cut, made-in-house onion rings, hand-shaped burgers, a rotisserie spinning tasty-looking chickens, and lots more good looking stuff. The best part of this place is how out-of-whack the pricing is, compared to everything else in the area.
Note: all of these menu prices below include a FREE 12 OUNCE BEER!
- Fried perch sandwich with fries and cole slaw: $5.75
- 1/2 pound burger with grilled onions, fries and cole slaw: $6.25
- Grilled Italian sausage on french bread with fries: $5.95
- Turky (sic) burger with pickle and fries: $6.45
- 1/2 rotisserie chicken with fries, cole slaw, bread and butter: $6.75
Did I mention, all of that includes a FREE BEER!!!
So far I've sampled only the fries, and they were well above average. They passed the "Does it taste like an actual potato?" test with flying colors. I look forward to trying and reporting about more soon.
Anyone else been here?
