I'm sure this is a rather unusual request, but...I've been trying to locate this beverage (in cases) and have been coming up empty. It's been a staple in our household, ever since my hubby and I gave up drinking soda 6 years ago. It's a non-carbonated, fruit-flavored water sweetened with Spenda...from Kraft Foods. It used to be quite popular..with commercials running on television for it. At one time, everyone carried it...Walgreens, CVS, Jewel, Sam's Club, Walmart, even Aldi's on occassion. Seems as though in the last several months, the original version of this stuff has disappeared, not to return. We used to buy it at Sam's Club for $9.99 a case. Lately, all we find there now is the vitamin-enhanced version...which we don't care for. Does anyone here know of a store that still carries the original Fruit2o...preferably sold by the case? Thanks!

Kraft sold the business last year so this probably reflects the business plan of the new owners. But I can't help on where to find it.

    Product locator for Fruit20.

The closest store from my 60618 zip code says Country Club Hills Walmart Super Center, though.
Reading is a right. Censorship is not.

Yeah, I've tried the product locater for my zip, and it says that all the Jewel stores in my area have it...but I can confirm, that they do not. I'm really bummed that I can't find it anymore...I really came to like it and prefer it's taste over other brands of flavored water that are on the market.

Yeah, ok...whatever. I like plain ol' water just fine, and drink plenty of it...but it's nice to have other options once in awhile. I don't drink soda or any other carbonated beverages..don't drink coffee or liquor...so that kind of limits my options to tea, juice and flavored water.

If Jewel is supposed to carry it, why not send an email to Jewel, letting them know you want to purchase this item, they're supposed to carry it, but you can't find it in your local store? I did this with the PC items earlier, and they at least (eventually) sent me a response as to why they weren't carrying it. I'd also contact Fruit2O and let them know you aren't finding it in the stores listed in their locator. Most corporations have a whole mess of folk just waiting to answer your questions...

    Jewel Contact Us Form
Kraft Foods is apparently too cheap to willingly answer email, but if you go to the FAQ search (which the "contact us" button takes you to) and type in "contact," you will get a link to their form and an 800#.

BTW - A message to Kraft corporate: a personal pet peeve of mine, Kraft, is a "Contact Us" button that directs you to FAQs. I'm smart enough to know that searching the FAQs for an answer will help me quicker than sending an email, so if I'm trying to contact you it's because I exhausted this avenue. If you don't want me to contact you, don't offer that as an option. I know you're trying to save money, but you really need to re-think this one.

Jewel is free to put on their shelves whatever they believe meets their customer demand and product mix. They are not obligated to carry any vendors full line of products plus Jewel does charge shelf-space fees. The decision whether somethings hits the shelves or not can be a complicated mixture of Jewel's interests, a manufacturer/distributors willingness to pay shelf fees, consumer demand and possibly other factors I am unaware of.

This is true - but often, grocery stores will add customer requests in this mix as part of "customer demand." If it's in their lineup of products, and they have a willing buyer who's taken the time to ask, sometimes you have some pull at an individual store through the corporate office.

That being said, sometimes it's not in their lineup and it's helpful to find this out.
