Wow. Mine's pretty accurate except for the white wine. The Bear Naked Granola brand has long irritated me.

    Favorite line:
“He has more of the arugula vote”

I think he also has the radicchio and endive votes.

I'm not sure I believe either the general hypothesis or specific examples behind the article. Which plate do you think Mayor Daley would prefer? Ann Coulter? Eating patterns are also still very different between North and South, rural and urban. I think this essay is simplistic at best.

I'm having pizza on Saturday, so I guess I'll be having a little McCain in November. I did have white wine in my fridge though...and I was getting a latte later today...dammit! What do I do now???? :o

Don't get flustered. Go to Klas, order a giant plate of sausage, talk about nation-building in the Middle East with the owners, and have several liters of the most piss-poor beer they serve. Perhaps enjoy the security of a concealed weapon in your spring jacket (hey, it is Cicero, after all). Carry large parcels of bacon, and give them to the richest people you see, ignoring panhandlers. If you trip in the middle of 22nd Street, make sure to solicit bids from every doctor at the hospital to ensure competitive and cost-effective treatment. Attend all weddings and commitment ceremonies to which you're invited for the next year, but only allow yourself to enjoy the food at the straight ones. You'll be FINE, I promise!

Wow -- it could hardly have been more wrong for me. Of course, I think anyone on LTHForum is probably outside easily defined culinary parameters.

After the founders of Ben and Jerry’s endorsed Mr. Obama, the campaign blog quickly suggested a new ice cream flavor that plays off of a favorite campaign slogan: Yes, Pecan!

That pun just makes no sense at all if you are from the South....I had to read that about five times.

One interesting note -- apparently Clinton voters prefer WalMart, McDonalds, and Starbucks.

That's not good for Starbucks. It used to be that Starbucks' fans would never be seen near a McDonalds.

Looks like work still needs to be done in Seattle.

HA HA HA! That was great!

You think you're shocked -- apparently McCain-Clinton is my dream ticket. Or at least my dream caterer.

But then, remember how Kerry was going to win based on Walmart-Starbucks demographics? As a white-collar, suburban, Midwestern, Catholic, female fortysomething who doesn't frequent Walmart or Starbucks, I could never figure out which bandwagon I was expected to jump on.

The only sure sell in this game is tea leaves.

That's because the use of statistical correlations done by this marketing agency is unbelievably dunderheaded. Go back over the list of products and see which ones have their largest markets in a particular region (Pepsi = North vs. Coke = South) or are divided into urban and suburban and rural markets (Starbucks, etc.). Then see if you're surprised that products with large urban markets are also popular with Clinton or Obama voters, and so on.

The Real answer is in the steak/sushi index, the more sushi = more democratic, more steak = more republican:
