Anyone else drinking Metromint water? I love this stuff! I started drinking the peppermint and spearmint flavors last summer. It is just purified water and mint essence--no sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no chemicals. Very refreshing--esp. in summer.

Now they have orangemint, lemonmint, cherrymint and my new addiction...chocolatemint!! It's the craziest stuff...just purified water, mint and cocoa essence. That's it. Nothing else. It smells even a little stronger than it tastes. The smell especially is very reminiscent of a Thin Mint or mint/chocolate chip ice cream. Delicious!

I used to only find it at Whole Foods, but just found some at a suburban Jewel yesterday (haven't looked at any Jewel stores in the city yet). It was by the health/organic/natural foods and drinks rather than by the other beverages though. It is pretty expensive (usually around $1.75-$1.89 a 16.9 ounce bottle I think) although it was on sale at Jewel yesterday for $1.50 a bottle.

Just wanted to post about this stuff--seems like a good company and now that I'm addicted to the chocolatemint water I want it to stick around!!

I just wish it had less mint to it- I've had it twice and I think it's just too powerful for me.

They have it at World Market. I didn't check the price.

It doesn't seem to be universally popular:

I don't drink it straight, but it makes a good mojito.

I tried the lemon mint a few weeks ago and really didn't like it. Too minty.

I have a far cheaper alternative to Metromint. Buy a pack of peppermint gum. Choose spearmint if that floats your boat. Start chewing, drink regular water.

I like the idea, but how are we going to fill up out landfills on gum wrappers. I find bottles much quicker.

Tried the spearmint flavor and it was way too strong for me. I also thought the water had a weird mouth feel to it.
