    Mushroom club.

At least in my case you know it is not a lame excuse.

I'm so let down. I don't get to leave the office until after 6.30 tonight due to a late meeting. I'm sad I'll be missing this.

I urge everyone that goes to try the tamale sampler it's out of this world.
One Mint Julep was the cause of it all.

    WOW!

Awesome food...great company, just what an LTH event should be.

I was a bit disappointed that they were out of the tamale appetizer, but we had a full plate with the Cinco de Mayo sampler platter. I have always loved the three-shot sample soup idea, ever since I had it at Commander’s Palace… I have discussed it with Chuck on more than one occasion. The soups were delicious.

MikeG is right...you NEED to get out to Chuck's more often.

Yes, really a good time and Chuck's remains one of the best deals for the price in the area-- in fact it's practically insane that we each got three soup "shooters" (and not small portions either), three different types of meat (including Chuck's terrific cochinita pibil and a nice hunk of filet with mole), Mexican rice that wasn't a throwaway and salad for $15.95. Needless to say there are tasting menus all over this town charging far more for far less.

Thanks to everyone who made it for this, and more should have!

    Hi,

Plus one. If we are late, due to traffic, then please proceed with ordering because once the food hits the table we will likely be there.

    Cathy,

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the event at Chucks has already occurred.
