I stopped by for some Thai food this weekend at my favorite Northwest Thai joint and found it boarded up. A businese next door told me that they had a huge fire Saturday morning and burned the roof down. Not sure of the cause- but by the looks of things-no more good Thai on the Northwest side for awhile.
So I headed East towards the lakefront to see a friend and I stopped by Jitlada on /Halsted and found the restaurant had it's window shades closed but their door open- with the City's signage on their door closing the restaurant. I went to a website that shows all the businesses that the city inspects at everyblock chicago and below are the list of violations.
