Help - breakfast near Intercontinental (other than West Egg)

or Fox and Obel?

I've a rushed breakfast tomorrow with a friend who is staying at the Intercontinental on Mich Ave before she leaves for the airport. Can anyone suggest a good location other than West Egg or F&O (or the hotel itself) close by? Decent basic food with minimal time for travel is the objective; good food is a plus!
