Post #1 - May 9th, 2008, 9:27 amI was given a pre-order of the Alinea book as a gift. Somewhere I saw that access to Alinea Mosaic would open on May 4th. I have been unable to figure out if a) accessing the site is possible or b)if the launch date has been postponed (I think it may have, I can't seem to find that May 4th date anywhere.
I have sent several emails via the contact link on Alinea-Book.com and have heard nothing back (OK OK start with the Schwa Reservations jokes.)
Has anyone here either accessed the Alinea-Mosaic site or heard that the launch has been postponed?
Thanks in advance for any information.

Post #3 - May 9th, 2008, 11:52 amI pre-ordered the book also. I received an email on May 5th with my personal login and password to access mosaic. Because yours was a gift, maybe the gift giver received such an email if your email information was not given during the pre-order.

I also woke up to the email one great morning. Give you gift giver a call and ask nicely for the email to be forwarded to you if they received it.

and ask what's up. I'm sure she'll get a prompt reply. I ran into Nick Kokonas last weekend and he told me that he personally was working on the user licenses. I'm sure they can get to the bottom of it quickly.
