Illinois Farm Direct

I was searching for a directory of farms that sell direct to retail customers and found this state sponsored website:

It has a useful search function, allowing a sort by commodity as well as by zip and radius. There is also information about CSA programs, explanations of organic farming and a blurb / link to slow food movement websites.

Thought I would bump this as it's the start of a new season.

wisconsin has a similar site:

As does Michigan and Indiana. and the USDA has a search page for other areas in the US.

And, though it's not as general as the links above, there's the U-Pick Map and Thread List - I've been updating the map to include more farms in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Indiana...
