Anyone been to Moxie on Clark?

Friends want to eat there this weekend. Anyone been?

OK, not great. Small plates of nothing terribly interesting executed well enough. Good drinks though.

All I can say, is that its an alternative to the wrigleyville sports bar. We went there with friends based on one of those friends RAVING about it. I was sort of unimpressed. The atmosphere is decent, but nothing out of the oridinary for a place that is going for a lounge-y feel. One complaint...the women's rest room was like an inferno. Food was unmemorable and not super cheap. My one friend ordered a glass of wine and it was corked - which I guess can happen.

Upon a brief re-read, this seems uber negative, which isn't my intent. I would say, if you have the opportunity, choose somewhere else, but if someone has their heart set on going there, I wouldn't bother kicking up a fuss about not going there - its fine and you will find something you like. I was just underwhelmed.

I was just wondering if two years later, anyone else had anything to say about Moxie's on Clark. These were the only two postings I could find. I've seen some positive things on other sites, but value LTH's opinion more. So any help would be great.
