ok, my wife and i checked out the bibimbop and again, the bulgugi. this time, the meat was moister, which is better. i'd give it a 4 out of 5 right now.
the big surprise was the bibimbop- excellent! fresh asian veggies- great presentation in the "to go" packaging. those little mushrooms were quite a site. each component was packaged separately; veggies with fried egg on top (very runny yolk as should be), meat, rice, sauce. great flavour, very fresh! 4-1/2 out of 5.
give your self extra time if you go to yen ching express- the korean food is prepared fresh, each dish one at a time- you'll need to wait a bit for it.
next time- the galbi. oh and they also now have thai iced coffee.
=adi=adipocere wrote:i got their bulgugi to go a couple of days ago- very good flavor but the beef was slightly dry. a work in progress- i was their first customer for the limited korean menu (bulgugi, bibimbop, galbi). still, it beats driving 20 miles each way to schaumburg or palatine if you're not going to make it yourself.
plenty to eat at $8.95 for a dinner, compleat with salad. i will try the bulgugi again this weekend- and get the galbi and/or bibimbop.
