Roadhouses with Good Food Outside of Memphis?

I'm hoping to do a trip to Memphis, either with several of my fellow foodies or with my GF (if she and I don't hit Colorado or California) over the coming months. I've always wanted to go to an old-fashioned southern roadhouse with good entertainment (blues, of course), lots of atmosphere, and good food. And while Memphis has a number of places like this, I'd really like to also hit some small towns nearby that have some of the more rural roadhouses.

Does anyone know of any within, say, an hour of Memphis? Thanks!
