    Be careful buying your queso fresco:

    "A rare form of tuberculosis caused by illegal, unpasteurized dairy products, including the popular queso fresco cheese, is rising among Hispanic immigrants in Southern California and raising fears about a resurgence of a strain all but eradicated in the U.S."

    Well, that's certainly the kind of press that the raw milk folks don't need. I don't give the average person enough credit to distinguish between raw milk produced in the US and raw milk or cheese smuggled in from Mexico.

    "Infected cheese" really rolls off of the tongue nicely, though.
