Are there any Indian restaurants in the NW Burbs that have a buffet but serve tandoori chicken fresh?

    Thanks

Can't say for the northwest burbs, but Sher A Punjab on Devon (a bit west of Western) has a buffet but brings fresh Tandoori to the table, steaming on a skillet of onions. Their buffet is $8.95 and not half bad.

The India Curry House serves up a quarter chicken tandoori style on a sizzling platter on their lunch buffet. The buffet is somewhat limited, with perhaps six entrees.

And it is in your neighborhood.

I absolutely love the Algonquin place. I'm branching out and find that they are great!!! The other places we tried have tandoor on the buffet, i prefer it fresh. Thanks for your input!! based on this board, looking at Gaylords.......

Tandoor is Park Ridge is discussed here. It's a buffet place. But, each diner gets an order of really good tandoori chicken delivered from the kitchen with their meal.

Cuisine of India at Elmhurst and Oakton has a dinner buffet at $11.95 that includes a platter of fresh-sizzling tandoori and naan brought to the table. We eat there regularly.

Their buffet sadly doesn't change much from month to month, but several items stand out: murgh makhani, samosas (skip the pakoras unless they've just come out fresh), and a yellow potato-cauliflower-yoghurt dish whose name I've forgotten.
