This morning a friend and I ventured to Finley and Butterfield Roads, for a first time visit to Juicy-O.
I had seen one small (positive) reference to it in a search of LTHF for: Breakfast, Downers Grove.
(Close by is the DG location for Jimmy Buffett's Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant.)
Juicy-O, an odd name, graced a sign which read "Pancake House" in larger letters. Upon entering this bright and cheerful place, I commented that the owners must have spent a few thousand dollars on all the frames, in the hundreds on all the walls. I think the next time I go, I'll actually read some of these signs, but I was hungry and ready to try their breakfasts.
My friend chose their Peach and Pecan crepes, while I ordered their Eggs Benedict. I had my camera along for the two shots below, and it's pretty apparent which meal looks more tasty. Taste? Very good, and the portions resulted in a take-home box for one of my friend's crepes, just too much (of a good thing) to eat in one setting.

Life is good; Good Food makes it great.
