Breakfast place near Addison and Ashland?

I guess my subject says it all. I have to take my car in near Addison and Ashland, and my roomie says that there is nothing to eat around this location. I'm looking for something within a quick cab ride/bus ride/walking distance.

So, I'm asking all of the LTHFourm experts, on any good breakfast places. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a few blocks south is Roscoe, and there are lots of breakfast places-

Victory's Banner is at Roscoe and Hoyne, which is a bit of a hike but doable, and a cheap cab ride if you go that route. They're all-vegetarian, and serve some amazing egg dishes, hash browns, fresh bread, and delicious chai.

There's also Orange on Roscoe, two or three doors west of Damen. Good food, VERY sweet/heavy.

Kitsch'n on Roscoe (just a door east of Orange) is very popular...I'm not super-impressed, but breakfast is their best meal for sure.

There's a Wishbone at the corner of School and Lincoln, which is solid but not outstanding.

Or go north a few more blocks, and stop by Mixteco on the corner of Montrose and Ashland. Great breakfast, best tortilla chips I've ever had, tho service is a little slow.

I haven't eaten there, but Violet (3819 N. Southport) looks very cute.

Deleece has a very tasty brunch on weekends. It's not too far.
