    Re; Hoagie Hut in Highwood.
Hoagie Hut in Highwood has relocated to the "main drag" a couple of doors north of Nite N' Gale (my favorite forever). There is another one owned by the same guy in North Chicago. Remember Badger?? My husband eats there quite often and my sister is coming up from Atlanta and I know they will have to go there.
Yeah, Al & Jane's is closed. I grew up "in" Al & Jane's while my parents hung out there with many other kids parents. That place was the big place to be on a Friday night, you couldn't get a table. That was before all the new restaurants in town.
The new Irish bar Bridie McKenna's is very good (we hosted a party there last week) and the owner could not have been nicer and the food was excellent! We got many kudos at work the next day.
Had a very good dinner at Bertucci's a month ago, angel hair with shrimp, scallops, broccoli and spinach and a very light lobster cream sauce. I have to go back and get that again.
Now we need a good Thai place and we will be set.
