From my friend with lots of New Lenox experience!:
A New Lenox boys picks for restaurants in the New Lenox area…in no particular order.
Paisano’s Pizza 348 W Maple Street
It’s on Metromix but no one has written a review. That’s funny. Good pizza and great beef sandwiches. This has been around for years and my friend used to waiter there.

Egg-cetra Café 19709 Mokena Street
This restaurant is not in New Lenox. It’s in the town over, Mokena. They are a breakfast/lunch joint and I think they close at 2:00. They got the best pancakes. In the fall you can get pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon butter. And in winter you can get eggnog pancakes. And their blue berry pancakes have the blueberries inside the pancakes…not piled on top. Yum!

Bluestone Bar and Grill 2387 East Joliet Highway
This place has only been open a few years. They have great burgers and a yummy spicy angel hair pasta. And on Sundays they do a nice Bloody Mary bar.

I have been going here since I was a kid. They have the best hot dogs in the world. They steam their buns! Plus they have great ice cream and root beer freezes. A “must stop” if traveling in New Lenox.

Dan McGee Restaurant 330 West Lincoln Highway
We went here for Brett’s birthday. A very hip and cool restaurant. You would think you were in Chicago. Great food too. This is in Frankfort, not New Lenox, but next to New Lenox.

Another great restaurant next to New Lenox. Again, this one is located in Frankfort. Stupendous fish and chips. Plus they offer bison burgers. Yum! If you go there please pay attention to the lighting…my step dad did the electric.
