    Hi all,
Hubby's BD is coming up and I know he's be floored by a bottle of Hitching Post Highliner as a gift, seeing as how he's a huge Sideways fan....
I know I can order it in a 3-bottle lot from Los Olivos, but thats a bit more of a piece of o' change than I really have lying about...
(it's two gas tanks full for the minivan these days LOL)
and Hitching Post themselves aren't shipping till fall because of the hot hot Calif weather...
Does anyone know of anywhere where I can just buy a bottle around here?
    (N. Burbs preferred....)
    Thanks.....

I've seen a number of different Hitching Post wines at Binny's. Their web site currently shows six different wines are available. There is probably one reasonably close to you. I would call first to make sure.

Grand Cru wines in AH or the Wine Cellar in Palatine would be worth a call.

Binny's was a good suggestion, they list the wines on their website and can transfer them to the HP store near me...
    very convenient ...
and the prices are more reasonable than ordering from CA and adding on shipping....
Thanks for the tip, I never would have thought of it!

I know this post is a little dated, but I just noticed bottles of 2006 HP Pinot Noir "Cork Dancer" at Pastoral for $33.99.

Also out of date, as I saw it a couple of weeks ago, Binny's on Clark had 2005 Hitching Post Pinot Noir Highliner on special for $29.95.
