You mean I could be in the same building as Guy Fieri? Probably best if I do not come then, since I might not be able to control myself  .

I've heard a rumor that another place, well-regarded on LTH, will be filmed for this show next week, too.

I heard that he'll be driving his Pontiac Fiero to the shoot, too. :P

As easy as it is to make fun of Mr. Fieri, whoever does the research for that show deserves a ton of credit.

I couldn't agree more. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if those researchers checked in here from time to time. But yes, the food featured on the show always looks fantastic.

I will grant you that, but it would be a much better show if they would dial Guy way down. Or maybe I am just too much of a food puritan, thinking that I want more of the food stuff, and less of the host making cute?

    D,

I like the show, especially in comparison to R Ray squeaking like a come to life Pillsbury Dough Girl or P Dean crackling like a drunken Savanna sorority chick. Guy F actually seems enthusiastic about food, if only he would stop tilting his head back like a baby bird about to be fed when he eats, and I am amused by his forced West Coastisms.

    Enjoy,

I encourage everyone to eat at all the Chicagoarea restaurants featured on that fine fine show.
