I've had some nice visits to the new Andersonville bar that has opened adjacent to the In Fine Spirits wine store and they now have their full wine and cocktail menu and a patio out back. So I'd like to propose an LTHForum Happy Hour:

    Wednesday July 9
    6:30 pm
    In Fine Spirits
    5418 N. Clark St.

You can read a bit about them on this thread:

Hopefully it will be nice and we can sit outside.

Consider me a definite maybe. I have it on my calendar. I'll be curious to see if they've corrected their beer menu yet.

    Dimitra-

I am a strong tentative yes for this event. I look forward to sitting out on the patio!

I like the sounds of that. Matter of fact, based on how it sounds, I wholeheartedly endorse the notion and may just show up myself (assuming a couple loose ends can be tied up in advance)!

This coming up next week, I thought I'd bump it to give it a little more timely exposure. Looking forward!

It looks like a go for me. And the weather is forecasted to be a perfect 80 degrees, which is perfect for the patio. See you there!

Hoping to hear good things about this. I was really looking forward to joining everyone and had Northwestern Memorial Hospital not had its grip on me so tightly, I would have been there! My sincere apologies and regrets.

Obviously, the company was the best part of the evening, although it was also gratifying to see that they admitted they'd made a mistake on the beer menu, and the menu's mea culpa reads almost exactly as if they pulled it off of LTH. Thanks Hellodali for setting this up, and to aschie30, for accepting me into the conversation, even though apparently I don't go to the right hairdresser.

It was very nice to catch up with you both and thanks for your menu planning advice for my fundraising dinner. I enjoyed my sazerac and the taste I had of Wendy's Negroni. It's a lovely patio and the weather and company were just right for it.
