arepas

I like to grill arepas to serve along with grilled meats. But, the only place I know to buy (frozen) arepas is La Unica. Does anyone know of another source for arepas, fresh or frozen? I would be primarily interested in destinations north or northwest of La Unica, but it seems worth asking whether there is anyplace other than La Unica to buy them. Usually, I buy the plain variety rather than the cheese filled ones, but I am open to any alternatives.

The South American Table by Maria Baez Kijac has several recipes for arepas, from basic to stuffed with chiles and cheese. I believe this book is available at the library.

Here is a recipe using masa harina, readily available at Latin groceries, that makes it look very easy.

You should check out Armitage Produce, 3334 W. Armitage, Chicago, Il. They are a Puerto Rican store that carry frozen Goya arepas (I think they are with cheese) and they also have frozen La Fe Arepas de Choclo(elote,corn).
Armitage Produce is located on the corner of Armitage and Kimball. This place is awesome.

I don't know the brand name and I can't say anything about the quality, but I did see frozen arepas at the Jewel on Pulaski and Foster.
