I am going to the midnight showing of Batman tonight at the Regal in Lincolnshire and am looking for a restaurant that will still be open and serving from 10 P.M. - 11 P.M. I stared racking my brain and couldn't think of anything...Tramonto's sushi bar stops serving food at 10 P.M., Friday's (last resort... yuck) stops at 10:30 P.M....

Any ideas for late night dining in the area?

On top of which, The Buffalo is about as far from the Regal in BG as you can get and still be in BG.

Your best bet might be some of the stuff on Milwaukee that's more bar-like -- Cubby Bear Lincolnshire, f'rinstance. Doesn't help on the "good" front so much, but they'll be more likely to be open.

I don't know if they qualify as good or if they serve late enough, but close to the theater there is a Champps (bar food), Cheesecake Factory, Kona Grill, Wildfire and Big Bowl.

Whats wrong with The Buffalo? I confess that I dont eat there much, but I remember that it is a completely servicable coffee shop/pancake house/diner. Whats wrong with a Monte Cristo, an Olive Burger or a Patty Melt? They also have a full Soda Fountain menu. Tin Roof. Check. Turtle Sundae. Check. Handdipped shakes and malts. Beats the pants off of Champs, Kona, Cheesecake, etc.

    I'm with iblock,
I'll take the Buffalo over Chammps any day...
their ice cream creations are wonderful-
and many of their standards are fine-
not fine dining, but perfectly fine for a late nite bite.
