My lady and I are going to catch the midnight premier of Pineapple Express at River East tomorrow, and we're looking for somewhere nearby to grab dinner before. Where can you walk in around 11pm on a Tuesday and get good food that isn't super overpriced?

I'm thinking about hitting up the Gage to try their poutine, but there isnt a lot else on their menu that jumps out at me and the mains are a little higher in price than we're ideally looking for.

We are open in terms of cuisine, but probably no burgers because we are talking about going to Sweets and Savories the next night for their $10 Kobe/Foie burger Wednesday special.

    Thoughts?

    JP,

Billy Goat serves until 2am (ish), though you indicate no burgers and that is the only thing I have ever had there, aside from booze. A little earlier and I might have said Boston Blackie's or P.J. Clarke's, but they both stop food service at 11pm.

    Enjoy,
    Gary

Check out Quartino's. Good quality/value/location ratio and their kitchen stays open into the wee hours.
