Anyone have any experiences with this place?

(I passed it the other day while driving on Harlem - looked promising enough.)

Is that on Harlem and 71st? Down by Toyota Park?

It's relatively new and I haven't made it in there yet if that's the place I was thinking of. I believe it used to be a Gyro place a couple years back.
One Mint Julep was the cause of it all.

Once, and that may be enough, though to be fair it was mid afternoon lull time. Overall C-, grilled knob onion and jalapeno, along with tripe taco keeping Los Magueyes from a solid D.

Tired carne asada, bland al pastor and lengua that would have rated the chef a tongue lashing if I thought there was even the slightest chance he cared. We would have taken a Khudo, but Los Magueyes was our second lunch.

Los Magueyes is on a busy corner, large, clean, lots of sunlight and murals with a drive-thru window and polite staff.

I'll agree with the C- based on one experience. Mediocre at best.
