    HI,

My friend Helen missed the first pig roast due to family duties. We will be coming to this event.

    Thanks for organizing this!

    Regards,
    Cathy2

I'm back in town and ready to eat. I'll be there.

Thanks to CrazyC for organizing an excellent meal. RAB and I had not been to SW before, and left knowing that we'll return again before long. Our table of LTHers did an impressive job cleaning our plates, and were kind enough to assist another table in finishing theirs.

The roast baby pig was a highlight. Crispy flavorful skin and tasty meat. For me, other standouts were the pork belly and the fried chicken. Big yum. We also tasted fried garlic ribs, chicken soup (black-skinned chicken), bok choy, tofu with steamed fish and vegetables, beef with cucumber, and eggplant with shrimp. Of these, I particularly enjoyed the tofu and the eggplant dishes.

The company at our table was also wonderful. I'm just sad that I only got to spend a few minutes chatting with our lovely hostess/organizer/introducer, C, and hope that we will see her at another event soon. Her efforts made for a great evening.

A huge thanks to CrazyC for putting dinner together. The pig was obviously delicious, but those fried garlic ribs. Oh my goodness. They're not on the regular menu but they can be ordered in advance with 5-6 hours notice. Well worth it as they are truly outstanding.
