the other day i made myself a tall lime rickey (plymouth gin, fresh lime juice and soda water). i ended up only drinking about half of it so i dumped out the ice, stirred in a teaspoon of sugar and poured it into a shallow lidded dish and froze it overnight. the next day i chopped it up with a fork, put it in a bowl and ate it with a spoon as a granita. it was very refreshing, and something i'd do again. justjoan
