    Tonight I had some "fish fragrant" (garlic sauce) eggplant at Ed's Potsticker House and was disappointed to find it quite sweet. Is that just the way it is, or did my "don't Westernize my food" card expire (it had been a while since I was there)? I also had the lamb with cumin, which was delicious. Oh, and the corn cakes.

    BTW, the explanation of "fish fragrant" is that it's a style of seasoning that would often be used for fish, but can be used for other things as well.
