I am in the process of planning a bachelorette party for one of my friends at the end of September and we have all decided to go to Kit Kat Supper Club for dinner and a drag show, but I am looking for a place or places to go afterward in the general Boystown/Lakeview area. The bachelorette is pretty low key, and just wants to go out and enjoy some good food and drinks with friends. Are there any good martini bars other than the one we are planning on going to? We are all college students/recent college grads so we don't really want anything TOO extravagant, although I'm sure we're all planning on spending a pretty penny throughout the course of the night.

    Thanks in advance!

I'd suggest Sidetrack, based on several wacky and very merry social gatherings I've attended there. Outstanding people watching, too. The outdoor Deck Bar is very pleasant, indeed.

Wonder if they are still cranking out Absolut Kurant Squishies in the frozen slush machines?

They definitely are still cranking out the Kurant slushies, amongst other things.
I would recommend dinner @ Arco de Cuchilleros, a very fine tapas place that would very easily and happily acommodate a large and boisterous party! Then I would hit Sidetrack and Kit Kat Lounge--and end the night with "breakfast" at Nookies3 at an ungodly hour. Stop at the Walgreens on Broadway/Belmont on your way home for Gatorade and Advil. :)

Mmm...garlic soup! Very healthful and nourishing way to start off an all-night binge. 8)

I wouldn't recommend Cocktail (corner of Halsted & Roscoe), because they have a sign on the door that says No Bachelorette Parties Allowed!

I would recommend minibar..... great drinks, some food, crostinis.. etc. just little snacks, but the view is amazing (if you know what I mean) they have taken all the beautiful people in lakeview (men and women) and placed them all in this bar. Try a dirty sanchez... jalapeno vodka and pinapple juice. yikes!!! I love it.

I would back up the MiniBar suggestion it's fun and hip decent simple food, hit Kit Kat for drinks later...their food is not great!!! Kit Kat doesn't get fun until late anyway.
