I'm looking for retailers selling Russian wine. Do you know of any? I'm particularly looking for wines from Krasnodar province.
Some stores tell me they have wines from Moldova but Moldova isn't part of the Russian Republic. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Bill,

Not sure as to Krasnodar province in particular, but if I was on the hunt for Russian wine I'd start with Eurostyle Deli and Greenwood Market.

    Good luck in your search.

    Enjoy,
    Gary

Definitely. Eurostyle deli has one of the best selections of Russian alcohol around.

I don't know about the specifics, but on one of my early trips to Devon Market, I noted that they carry wine from more than a dozen European countries. It's worth a look.

The liquor store in the strip mall by Eng's in Rogers Park sells a fairly large selection of Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian and Georgian wines, beers and spirits. The store is Russian owned and the proprietors are helpful and knowledgable. The Liquor Barn in Niles has the largest selection of Russian, Eastern European and Baltic wine and beer that I have seen around, but their products sometime suffer from poor storage practices.

The Bende/ Hungarian Sausage company outlet in Vernon Hills has a decent selection of East European wines, and I know I have seen some Russian ones there. I have not been there for over a year, so I dont know what they currently have, or that they are even still in business. I would suggest calling first. 847-913-0304.
